Obanazawa/Oishida Boys and Girls Invention Club was held!

We started to prepare the plan from June with Kitamurayama High School,

and helped local boys and girls to make snow domes, beeswax wraps, and other items!

Thanks for the cooperation of the students and teachers of Kitamurayama High School,

we were able to put together a great event!

Factory Tour for Parents and Children

A factory tour was held on November 16 for parents and children in the upper grades of elementary school and junior high school.

The event attracted a total of 39 participants, including 20 elementary and junior high school students and 19 parents.

It was our first attempt at a factory tour with parents and children, but it was well received by the participants and ended with a great success.

Students from the Faculty of Engineering at Yamagata University came to tour our factory.

As expected of science students, they were enthusiastic about our roll manufacturing process.

As a souvenir of their visit, we gave a tote bag and a Baumkuchen cake to take home.

Sanyo Seiki Cup baseball tournament was held!

On the weekend of the Hanagasa festival, a little league baseball tournament sponsored by our company was held.

Four teams from the Murayama region participated, and the players played hard for their victory.

Took part in the Hanagasa Festival of Obanazawa City.

We participated in the Hanagasa Parade, just as we yearly did before COVID19.

Unfortunately our start was very late because of the parade order, but we danced down the main street under the night light.

One new graduate and three mid-career recruits entered our company.

Also, seven employees who entered our company within a year participated in this ceremony.

We donated a hometown tax.

To support the regional revitalization of Obanazawa, we donated a corporate version of hometown tax.

Announcement of New President

Exective director, Takeshi Takiguchi became our new president.

Also, president Nobuo Ninomiya has retired and became an auditor.

Sanyo has been selected 'Regional Growth Driving Company' of Yamagata prefecture.

'Regional Growth Driving Company' is a company which is expected to lead the regional economy.
